CIPA Replacement Side Mirror Installation - 2001 Chevrolet Silverado- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the CIPA replacement mirror for an electric mirror on a 2001 Chevy Silverado. Now our previous OEM mirror was actually broken with a spring and had to be held on with the zip tie for it to not flop around while driving. And this is gonna be the perfect solution to get it back to that OEM look and it's gonna retain all your electric mirror functions. Now, you're going to have your electric mirrors be able to work just as factory but you're also going to retain that mirror defrost as well. So that's gonna be huge come winter time. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror Installation - 1999 Ford F-250- Video

Today on our 1999 Ford F250, we'll be installing the Cipa custom towing mirror on the passenger side, part number 11702. The Cipa custom towing mirror is designed to fin over the current manufacturer's mirror.First, we'll go over the supply components with our new custom towing mirror. With the total of four pieces, we'll need to install the felt strip on the wedge block before installing the wedge unto the mirror. To install the felt strip, we'll remove the adhesive backing, and then apply it to the wedge. This will help protect the old, or manufacture's mirror from being scratched when installing the new custom towing mirror.Now, with the felt strip applied to the wedge, we'll go ahead and install the wedge into the mirror, lining up the slot in the wedge with the tab built into the mirror. Now, we're going to install it unto the vehicle mirror. more

CIPA Replacement Electric and Heated Side Mirror Installation - 2004 Ford Taurus- Video

Today on our 2004 Ford Taurus we will be installing the Cipa replacement side mirror in both electric and heated in the black color for the driver side; Part #CM43320. To begin with, for the mirror itself, there's a plug right here we'll need to take out using a flat-head screwdriver and then underneath that, there's a bolt or a screw as well. To get to the other screw that holds the mirror on, we need to actually remove the interior door panel. We'll need to do this to also get to the electrical connection that we'll need to unplug. We're going to need to remove several screws as well as fasteners that hold the interior door panel in place here on the driver side. There are screws that go around the door panel, as well as, two screws here in nearthe door handle itself. Now we found that if you unthreadthe door lock knob it makes things a little easier. more
